For the hours that you and your workers spend with our qualified trainers, our goal is to make our classes fun and informative. Fall Protection

This is a one day 8 hours course that trains all participants how to safely work at heights. Throughout the course students will learn how to safely inspect, don and doff a harness, how to accurately make fall calculations and how to determine what are safe anchor points.

H2S Alive

H2S naturally occurs in crude oil and may be found in the refining processes. This course will show all participants how to safely detect the presence of H2S and the proper use of a SCBA while safely working in a “sour” environment. The use of multiple gas detectors and the hazards of this deadly gas will be examined so all participants will have a full understanding of the potential dangers..

b.c. worksafe standard first aid

Two-day course offering an overview of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace. Day 1 is a Workplace Emergency First Aid (WEFA) course which is the equivalent of WorkSafe BC’s Occupational First Aid Level 1. Day 2 is the second day of a Standard First Aid course. The WEFA course meets OHS regulations and is accepted by WorkSafe BC.

B.C. Worksafe Emergency First Aid

One-day course offering an overview of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace. Meets OHS regulations and is accepted by WorkSafe BC. Equivalent course to WorkSafe BC’s Occupational First Aid Level 1.

Comprehensive two-day course OR blended learning, offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

Basic one-day course offering lifesaving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home. Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

CPR & AED

Courses on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) provide the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and babies depending on the level of CPR chosen. Courses meet legislation requirements for provincial/ territorial worker safety and insurance boards, and include the latest CPR guidelines and training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).

Childcare standard first aid

Comprehensive two-day course offering lifesaving first aid skills, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills, and injury prevention skills and knowledge, with a focus on childhood injuries and illnesses. Includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines and meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial early childhood education and day care worker safety requirements*.

childcare emergency first aid

Basic one-day course designed to introduce caregivers to injury prevention skills and knowledge. Course covers lifesaving first aid skills and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR and AED) for children, and babies. Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial early childhood education and day care worker safety requirements*

babysitters Course

Offers basic first aid and caregiving skills for youth 11-15 years old. Participants learn how to provide care to children in a variety of age groups, and how to prevent and respond to emergencies. The course also offers youth the skills to promote themselves as babysitters to prospective families.

Offers basic first aid and safety skills for youth 9-13 years old. Participants learn about being safe when they are without the direct supervision of a parent, guardian, or trusted adult, both at home and in their communities

psychological first aid; caring for others & self care

Caring for Others course, learn how to recognize when a person is in distress and how to offer help without judgement or assumptions. Self Care course, learn the effects of stress, with an emphasis on building and using a personal self-care plan.
